Direct trust answer

Runze Apparel can discuss sample development when buyers send a reference photo, existing sample, style number, fabric direction, measurements, target quantity, size range and label or packing needs.

Step 1: Send the starting point

The buyer sends a catalog style number, product screenshot, reference photo, physical sample or tech pack so Runze can understand the intended style direction.

Step 2: Confirm sourcing details

Useful details include fabric direction, target quantity, preferred colors, size ratio, destination country and any private-label or packing requirements.

Step 3: Review process needs

Runze can discuss production steps such as fabric preparation, cutting, sewing, pressing, checking, packing based on the order plan.

Step 4: Discuss feasibility and sample direction

Runze reviews whether the style direction, customization details, quantity and timeline can be discussed before moving into sample planning.

Step 5: Review feedback before bulk

After sample discussion, buyers can review fit, color, trim, label and packing details before confirming bulk order direction.

What sets the approval baseline

The approved sample, confirmed measurements, color plan, label details and packing notes become the working reference for later bulk discussion.

Sample decision guide

One clear reference is enough to begin a sample discussion, but it is not enough to approve bulk production.

A photo, physical sample, catalog item or tech pack establishes the starting direction. Before bulk, the buyer and supplier still need to make the fabric direction, fit, measurements, color, trim, label and packing requirements explicit. The approved sample and confirmed order record are the production baseline.

Start with what you have
A reference photo can begin the feasibility conversation. Mark which elements must match and which may change, especially the silhouette, neckline, sleeve, closure, pocket and length.
Use the sample to decide
Review the actual fit, construction, fabric hand feel and measurements before the bulk discussion. Feedback such as a cuff, waist or size adjustment should become a written revision point.
Keep the boundary clear
The current custom-sample discussion is RMB 200 for 1-2 pcs and normally 7-15 days after requirements are confirmed. It applies to custom OEM/ODM samples, not to every ready-style wholesale request.

Buyer questions

Short answers for buyers checking whether Runze is a practical sourcing partner.

Can Runze develop clothing from a reference photo?

Yes. Buyers can send reference photos, existing samples, fabric direction, measurements and target market needs so Runze Apparel can discuss OEM/ODM sampling and production feasibility.

Do buyers need a tech pack?

A tech pack is helpful, but buyers can also start with a clear reference photo, catalog style, product screenshot or existing sample.

When should label and packing details be discussed?

Label, hangtag, care label and packing details should be discussed before sample or bulk planning because they affect cost, MOQ direction and production preparation.

Can sample and bulk order details be discussed together?

Yes. Buyers can discuss sample needs, MOQ direction, lead time direction and packing requirements before confirming the final bulk order plan.

Fact boundary

Use the right record for the right buying decision.

RMB 200 for 1–2 pieces and a normal 7–15 day window are current discussion points for custom OEM/ODM samples only. Ready-style availability, bulk quantity and delivery planning are confirmed style by style in the RFQ.
